Today i am going to share about the Inman aligners.

So basically, I will copy & paste what is it all about

What is the Inman Aligner™?
Inman Aligners are a type of removable orthodontic appliance that is especially good for adults. They are not entirely invisible and have a thin metal or clear bar that shows across the front of the teeth. The Aligners are not suitable for every case as they are restricted by the tooth movement they can achieve, but in those patients who present with mildly misaligned top or bottom front teeth they can be the ideal solution. You will be able to find out whether you are suitable after a consultation with Dr Rashid or Dr Nijam.
How does the Inman Aligner™ work?
The Inman Aligner™ appliance straightens teeth by applying a gentle constant force. The force is created by a coiled spring which lies on the tongue side of the teeth and a bar which sits across the front of the teeth. These act in opposite directions, squeezing the teeth by a pushing/pulling action so that they come to lie within a predetermined arch.
Because the pressure is very gentle the aligner is comfortable to wear. It needs to be worn ideally for 16 – 20hours per day being removed for eating and cleaning.
Is the Inman Aligner new?
Patients have been treated with Inman Aligners since 2000. In the United States approximately 450 to 500 new patients are prescribed treatment with Inman Aligners every month. We are proud to be the first and only provider of the inman aligner in singapore!!
Is the Inman Aligner comparable to Invisalign?
No, the Inman Aligner is used for treating the top and bottom front teeth only. Invisalign can treat full arches (all your teeth).
Will treatment with the Inman Aligner be uncomfortable?
No. Due to the gentle but steady orthodontic forces generated, the appliances are easily tolerated. Your doctor may suggest aspirin or Paracetamol for the 1st few days of treatment if you encounter any discomfort.
Will the Inman Aligner affect my speech?
Yes. The Inman Aligner will affect your speech for a week or two. You will however get used to the appliances over time and be able to speak fine with them in place.
Will I need to see the doctor frequently for adjustments?
The Inman Aligners are pre-programmed to reduce the need for office visits. Your doctor will prescribe a treatment due to your needs.
How much does the Inman Aligner cost?
We charge $3500.00 per Inman aligner. This is inclusive of a fixed retainer at the end of the treatment.

Basically, I visit Dr Abdul Rashid (he is awesome) . Ok… He help me did my fillers (composite filling) *super painful* :'( ok, I admit i have got super low tolerance for pain! haha! He took some pictures of my teeth and did some xray in his clinic then we proceed to discuss what is a better choice for me……

1) Metal Braces <— Pluck 4 teeth for 1 teeth *NOT WORTH IT!*
2) Invisalign <—- $7,500 <— Siao uh?
3) Ceramic Braces <—- Chip off easily and still mus pluck
4) Inman Aligner <— Great Choice!

It cost $3,500 and it was within my budget. and it incl. a retainer which i have to wear a lifetime :'(

  1. hello! I’m interested to do the aligner but can I do one row of teeth only? $3500 is out of my budget :/

    1. Hi Jasmine, the inman aligner is $3500 for only one row of teeth. either top or bottom. You pay via 24mths installment too if is too heavy for you now. U can contact dentalworkz directly 6884 4051 :)
